About this campaign

All of us want to help. Some of us by going, serving, offering our time and energy; others by praying or, perhaps, financially supporting those who go. All of these are great options...which one appeals to you?

Ice jams on the Athabasca River caused major flooding in Fort McMurray and forced 13,000 people from their homes...this on top of the crisis of COVID-19. The community of Fort McMurray has been struggling...the forest fires exactly four years ago, the current economic crisis and downturn due to the collapse of the oil and gas industry, and now this.

We were there four years ago alongside Samaritan’s Purse bringing physical, emotional and spiritual aid to those affected, and we are there again this spring.

I am passionate about bringing hope, comfort, and the Light of Jesus into situations like this. If you feel a nudge to be involved but cannot “go”, would you consider donating to my fundraising campaign?

Thank you! Together, we will make a difference!
